Complete Nutritional Data

Peaches & Oral Health

Peaches contain antioxidants that help fight free radicals and protect the body against infection and harmful diseases. Peaches contain phosphorous and calcium, which help strengthen bones & teeth and repair of bodily tissues. Foods that are rich in phosphorus aid in preventing bone diseases that cause bone loss, such as osteoporosis. It helps with re-mineralization of bones so they maintain their rigidity. Along with calcium, the vitamin C content in peaches also plays an important role in the strengthening of jaw bones and gums, which helps in keeping the teeth intact.

Be sure to keep up with your daily dental routine and as always, try to brush and floss as quickly as you can after having sugary foods. The acid in these sweet foods can break down the enamel of your teeth, which is not very “peachy”.
